Chicken and peppers and pepperoni and broccoli and jalapenos and bow-tie pasta oh, my! And Oh so Good!
And because I take endless and random pictures of our beloved Jade, here's one now:
We took the camera to youth this morning. We played The Question Game which is a throwback to our old First-P days in Hannibal. The kids there LOVED the game and our youth were no different. Josiah was cracking everyone up with his great playing skills and gigantic sunglasses:
This was our first Lunch with Jami & Michael all July. We missed Sunday the 3rd because we were on our trip and then the 17th was just too hectic. So today we picked back up our every-other-Sunday lunches with this great couple from our Youth Group (even though they are older than Youth Age, we let them stick around...) They took a picture of us:
And I took a picture of them although they didn't really want their picture taken and Jami was playing with her cup and Michael was just smiling at Jered.
And then, just in case you didn't know (which I'm sure everyone who reads this does) we've temporarily adopted a white kitten that we named "Sprechen". This was Sprechen when she first came to us over two weeks ago.
And here she was this morning. She's grown quite a bit in just 2 1/2 weeks!
We wish we knew how old she was but then again there's no way we can keep her. After we move in with Aimee, that'd be one dog, two cats and a bird in a two-bedroom apartment. Can we say "zoo"? Plus she's a kitten with claws and Jade is an old fuddy-duddy who certainly does not like to play with kittens with claws. When the growling and hissing gets too bad, we lock Sprechen in the bathroom or Jade in our bedroom. Too bad. She's a really sweet kitty when she's not rough-housing.
So that's July so far. Lots of fun and hanging out with people and a couple weddings and photo-shoots. August is shaping up to be a great month as well so we'll keep you posted!
