Missouri Get-away!!

For those who read our Artistic Imagery blog, you've already seen this post. Or at least one similar. For those who don't. . . here's a quick post about our Missouri Trip. We left the Friday before 4th of July and drove all over the Northern part of the state loosely following the Katy Trail. Knoxville followed by Rocheport followed by Hermann followed by Hannibal followed by Clarksville & finally Louisiana. Whew. We were home by Sunday night which was a full day earlier than planned simply because it was about 98 degrees all day every day and by Sunday, we were exhausted.

Robyn & Aimee

Us all in Knoxville

Portrait of Robyn at lunch. We ate at a fabulous bistro right on the Missouri river in Rocheport. Lovely.

Us in front of the Missouri

The girls walking back up to the Bistro. Pretty cool n'est pas?

Nifty gallery where they sold pottery & photography. We checked out lots of galleries & antique-y places on our trip.

Cool coffee shop we found in down town Hermann. Reminded me of Java Jive. Oh Java Jive. ::sigh::

Jered's taking pretty pictures of me in the rock garden outside our B&B in Hermann. See, we were going to camp but I mentioned it was 90+ degrees outside, yes? We opted for air conditioning.

Aimee & Robyn outside our B&B on Saturday. You may notice Aimee & I are wearing the exact same green tank top from Old Navy (as seen in the above 2 pictures)

Sunday morning in Hannibal. That's me at our table in Java Jive. Yes. That is literally our old table. Jered even got the part of the table we signed in the picture. We donated it when we moved.

Vineyard in Clarksville. Vineyards are pretty and green. There's lots of them on the hills in this part of the state. With the hills in the background, I could imagine we were in Europe. Italy perhaps?

Yes. Definitely European in nature. At least I think so.

Jered is a stud and did all the driving.

More out the window (obviously)
